What information do we collect?

Simply using EasyECU means the company has certain information on you. This information is collected in a number of ways: providing personal data yourself, uploading files, collecting data through use of the service, collecting data through cookies. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
Here is the complete list of what EasyECU may collect about you:

• Browser type
• Website visited prior to arriving on EasyECU.com
• Location data
• Mobile device type (if applicable)
• Date and time of requests
• All files you upload or download from EasyECU

What do we use your information for?

For the most part, your information is used to either simply provide you with the service, or to improve the service. It also uses some of this data for its own analytics purposes. EasyECU uses Google Analytics. You can choose not to have your data accessed by Google Analytics by clicking here.
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

  The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, reply to the email with the subject line 'Unsubscribe' to be removed from future emails.

We use cookies in order to implement authentication and to enable core features of our application, as well as to enable us to better understand user behavior. However, if you turn your cookies off, most of our services may not function properly.

Data safety

To prevent access or disclosure of your personal data, like for the accuracy and appropriate use of your information, EasyECU adopts a series of physical, technical and administrative measures in agreement with the current technological and industrial standards and with the most stringent international requirements on privacy. In particular, all the connections to and from our server are encrypted through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology with 256 bit keys length. As the protection of your personal data is also your responsibility, we ask you to diligently keep your password and any other information of authentication, which you use to access your account in EasyECU. You must not communicate your authentication information to anyone and we also request that you inform EasyECU immediately of any unauthorized use of your password. EasyECU cannot guarantee the safety of personal information you issue on your behalf or that you ask us to issue.

How do I permanently delete my account?

If you want to permanently close and delete your account, contact us.

When you delete your account:

• Your profile, account settings, all personal data and all uploaded files will be permanently removed.
• If you're not logged in, you'll be asked to log in first.
• We will verify your identity for security purposes before accepting the deletion request.

For security reasons, we can't delete an account for you. You’ll need to be able to log into your account to delete it. If you can't remember your password, reset it here.

We will remove your account from EasyECU within the next 24 hours. After you delete your account, you can't sign up again with the same username or add that username to another account, and we can't reactivate deleted accounts.
